Amazing Memories at the 85th Battle of the Maroons
For Ananda college really it was not just another big match. For the first time in our school Ananda College ICT society created the Battle of the Maroons Mobile app.

The main person behind the LIVE app was Pasindu Chathuranga (or simply PC- The Person behind the sCenes ). With his amazing skills he created an great interface(worth 1000$) for controlling the mobile app. with this amazing creation we could simply control the match with few clicks !
For the Techinical side me & pc were able to provide Microsoft Azure Servers, Which was a linux server with 8 cores & 14GB ram. :)
Giving LIVE updates was the crucial & challenging task for us. It was really hard to clearly see the players, & we had to manage each and every run, ball for each player. Sometimes while enjoying the match we were in trouble.

Our friend Sachin helped us at these moments.
yeah it was amazing controlling the match. We thought of leaving school and joining ESPN or other cricket LIVE score updating CREW. It was really a great experience siting in the VIP room of Premadasa Stadium and managing the technology.( thankyou prefects guild ! ).
And specially Gayanga ayya provided us a photo feed :P for the mobile app.
The voting system was another competitive feature.
It was the first experience for us developing a cross platform mobile app.
